ARE YOU READY TO
Create the most meaningful work of art that will ever grace your walls: your one-of-a-kind ketubah.
A declaration of your love and commitment. A marriage mission statement. A connection to your Jewish heritage, made modern to reflect your shared values. A daily reminder of the hope and promise of your wedding day. A family heirloom. A beautiful piece of contemporary art that you created - together.
You’ve looked at hundreds of ketubahs - but none of them look like YOU.
WE'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE
CLOSE ALL THOSE BROWSER TABS - THE SEARCH IS OVER
YOU are the ketubah artist you’re looking for.
Creating the perfect ketubah requires intimate knowledge of what inspires you as a couple, your story, favorite places and memories, and your vision for the future together. Contrary to what you might expect, it doesn’t require a Rabbinic degree, Hebrew fluency or art experience - just a trusted guide who can support you in bringing your ideas to life.
We’ve created 1,200 ketubahs for couples like you - now we’re sharing everything we know so you can create your own.
IMAGINE IF YOU COULD
Write a ketubah text that represents the authentic, heartfelt promises - romantic and practical - that you want to make to one another, and have it flawlessly translated into Hebrew.
Learn the history, rules and traditions around the ketubah - from text to artwork to signing - so you can make informed decisions grounded in your heritage and aligned with your shared values.
Envision a work of art that evokes what inspires you most - whether that’s a special destination, natural landmark, species of tree or a collection of colors and abstract forms, and receive personalized, expert instruction to bring it to life together.
Learn to hand-letter your own text in Hebrew, English, or both, or have it precisely designed by our team to complement your illustration.

What they are saying
“Unbelievable experience working with Beka and her team.
It was such an intimate experience and felt understood through the whole process. The final piece was more than we had originally imagined. She paid attention to every detail and was super communicative throughout the whole journey of creation. I can’t wait to get this framed and have this beautiful piece of art to commemorate our love and commitments!"
Sarai
“I am non-binary and Jewish and having an interfaith wedding.
We wrote our own ketubah and she helped translate this into non-binary language. It is incredible."
Gabrielle

This is for you if:
You’re a Reform, interfaith and/or LGBTQIA+ couple living in North America, getting married March-May 2024
The idea of experimenting with art supplies and creating together sounds fun
You’ve found some ketubahs you like but nothing perfect, and want to combine elements to make something you love
Having a personalized, authentic ceremony + ketubah is a priority for you both, and you can commit 5-10 hours over the next two months to work on your ketubah
This is not for you if:
You don’t have a wedding date or officiant selected yet. Reach out to be added to our list for future cohorts!
You have too many wedding DIY projects on your plate, and taking on something else would be stressful
You’ve found a ketubah artist you love, but they’re out of your price range and you want to copy their work directly
You’d feel more comfortable outsourcing your ketubah to an artist, or just don’t have the time to spend learning a new skill right now
Hi, I’m Beka
MEET YOUR GO-TO EXPERT
10 years ago, I was in your shoes. Engaged, deeply sentimental, and looking for a ketubah that “fit” - my home, wedding, and beliefs.
I couldn't find it, so my husband and I wrote our own text and worked with my mother-in-law to create our own. 5 years later, I took a look at the options on the market and STILL didn’t see the kind of ketubah I had been looking for. That’s when I started Foreverie Paper.
Creating ketubahs for 1,200 couples has been deeply rewarding and fun. But now I’m excited to collaborate with you to create your own - more personal and meaningful than we could ever make for you.
For almost two decades, I was an art teacher - working with adults in hospitals, prisons and museums around the country to make work that was personally transformative and joyful. In that time, I perfected fool-proof methods for helping people bring their vision to life, no matter their level of art experience. Now I’m sharing that experience with you, along with our expert team of translators and designers, to help you create a ketubah you’ll cherish forever.
Still Got Questions?
-
Supplies are easily available at a local art supply store or online, and you’ll receive a detailed, personalized list once you’ve chosen a technique. Supplies range from free, for a digitally-designed photo ketubah with the “Printed Pair” package, up to about $100 for a block-printed design with text printed at a local art printer. Most couples can expect to spend $25-50 on supplies.
-
Less than half of the couples we work with are married by Rabbis, and we will share all the information you need to make sure your ketubah is accurate.
-
Yes! When we translate your custom text, we’ll provide a digital version for you and your Rabbi to review. We’re happy to make revisions as needed.
-
The first session will be held on Sunday, 1/15 from 4-5:30 EST. If that time works well for the cohort, we’ll continue to meet on Sundays at that time. If not, we’ll find a time that works better for the group. All sessions will be recorded and you’l have access to the replays.
-
Not a problem at all! We’ll translate English names phonetically for anyone that doesn’t have a Hebrew name.
-
Nope! We’ll help you decide (if you still need help), but English-only ketubahs are a popular choice for modern couples (and me! My ketubah is English-only).
